Nemtsov’s daughter agrees to meet Kadyrov after his interrogation
If the investigators into the murder of Boris Nemtsov manage to question Ramzan Kadyrov, Zhanna Nemtsova, Boris’ daughter, will be ready to personally talk to him. Currently, because of received threats, she is outside Russia.
Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on February 27 in Moscow. In connection with the crime, five natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia were detained, namely: Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov and Shagid Gubashev.
On March 9, the "Kommersant" reported with reference to its own sources that Ruslan Geremeev was wanted for questioning as a witness in Boris Nemtsov murder case. However, Ruslan Geremeev left Russia, the "Rosbalt" reported with reference to its source. On April 24, law enforcers announced that Ruslan Geremeev became a suspect in Boris Nemtsov murder case. On May 22, it was reported about a new suspect in Boris Nemtsov murder case - Ruslan Mukhudinov, a resident of Chechnya.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 30 Ramzan Kadyrov expressed his readiness to give his testimony to investigators. In August, Vadim Prokhorov, Zhanna’s advocate, said that the request for questioning Kadyrov, as well as three Geremeev’s relatives, was lodged to the investigator, but he refused to conduct these interrogations.
On October 8, on the eve of the birth of Boris Nemtsov’s birthday, his daughter said that the collected evidence "allows stating, with a high degree of certainty, that the arrested persons were the perpetrators of this crime," the "Moskovskiy Komsomolets” writes.
"As to organizers and customers, investigators are clearly in a deadlock; for obvious political reasons... At the moment, the traces absolutely clearly lead to Chechnya; therefore, it is necessary to interrogate all the persons listed in my petition," said Zhanna Nemtsova.
She added that she is ready to respond to Ramzan Kadyrov’s offer to meet personally.
"I welcome Kadyrov’s decision to appear for questioning at the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), once he is summoned there. I hope that on October 14 the Basmanny Court will satisfy my request, and Kadyrov will be questioned. I’m ready to meet him after that," said Zhanna.
According to her story, she left Russia, because of threats she received through social networks.
