Law enforcers start searching for militants in Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan

This morning, a regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been introduced in the territory of the Karabudakhkent District. This was reported by the spokesman of the operational headquarters of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) in Dagestan.

"At 4:00 a.m. Moscow time, the CTO regime was introduced within the administrative borders of the Karabudakhkent District. Law enforcers are searching for militants," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the spokesman of the Dagestani NAC headquarters as stating.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at 0:00 a.m. Moscow time of September 28, the CTO regime was introduced in the Kurakh, Magaramkent, Suleiman-Stalsky, Tabasaran, and Khiv Districts of Dagestan. The decision on the introduction of the CTO regime was made after on September 18 and 19, law enforcers found bodies of five killed local residents in the forests of the Suleiman-Stalsky District and a summer militants' camp was discovered not far from the place of the murder. According to a source from the law enforcement bodies, the special operation is being carried out outside residential settlements. However, local residents reported on a large concentration of law enforcers.
