In Sochi, city resident Tatiana Kholidi, the mother of Pavel Resh, a seriously ill 33-year-old person with disabilities, has sent an appeal to Veronika Skvortsova, Russian Minister of Health. In her appeal, the woman complains about doctors and pharmacists, who failed to provide her son with life-saving drugs.
The appeal was sent on September 26. Its copy is available to the "Caucasian Knot".
"Starting from December 2014, my son is not even occasionally provided with essential medicine 'Vazomirin'. The failure to receive this drug causes death," states the appeal.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been told by Tatiana Kholidi herself that her 33-year-old son suffers from a brain tumour and from several related dangerous diseases.
Tatiana Kholidi has shown the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent the list of 12 drugs to be provided to her son free of charge every month. However, the drugs are provided very irregularly and insufficiently even with the recipes written.
The woman has repeatedly appealed to officials of the social sphere and to the supervisory authorities; however, no reaction has followed.
