In Yerevan, about 100 people pay tribute to memory of fallen soldiers

In Yerevan, the St. Anne's Church held a liturgy in memory of four soldiers, who died in the Karabakh conflict zone on September 25. Parishioners also lit candles to pay tribute to the memory of the fallen soldiers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 25, as a result of the shelling from the Azerbaijani side, four soldiers were killed and other 16 were wounded in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has called the shelling an adequate response to the enemy's attack, in which one Azerbaijani soldier was killed and three others were wounded. The OSCE Minsk Group has strongly condemned the deterioration of the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone.

In the evening of September 29, people held the action to pay tribute to the memory of the deceased soldiers. According to the organizers of the action, it was attended by about 100 people, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The liturgy for the repose of the souls of the deceased soldiers was held by Father Avetis Danielyan, Rector of the St. Anne's Church. After the liturgy, in the church yard, parishioners lit candles fixed in the shape of a cross and a symbol of eternity, as well as in the form of inscription "Eternal Glory!"
