All defendants in case of Boris Nemtsov's murder recall their confessions
In the course of the re-interrogation, Shagid Gubashev, accused in Boris Nemtsov murder case, has retracted his initial confession. Therefore, all the defendants in the case pleaded not guilty. This was reported by a source close to the investigation.
Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on February 27 in Moscow. In connection with the crime, five natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia were detained, namely: Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov and Shagid Gubashev.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in mid-August, according to the source close to the investigation, Shagid Gubashev retracted his initial confession and asked to re-interrogate him.
On September 24, Shagid Gubashev was re-interrogated. At that time, he was the only defendant in the case, whose earlier confession was at the investigators' disposal. According to the investigators, Shagid Gubashev had no definitive desire to retract his confession, the "Rosbalt" reports.
However, Shagid Gubashev has told the investigators that he retracts his confession, which, according to him, had been made under pressure.
