"The final decision on the Khasavyurt has been made, and Zainnudin Dadabegovich Okmazov, a native of the village of Burtunai of the Kazbek District will be the new City Mayor. This is the result of recent talks between Abdulatipov and Umakhanov. Saigidpasha Umakhanov himself may take a seat of the head of one of the ministries of the republic," Magomed Bisavaliev, a Dagestani journalist and blogger, wrote on his Facebook page. It should be noted that 53-year-old Saigidpasha Umakhanov is one of the "political long-livers" of Dagestan.
