Dagestani farmer and his son suspected of kidnapping three people
Investigating bodies have opened a criminal case against the head of a farm and his son, who are suspected of kidnapping their employee and his minor children.
According to investigators, on August 21, a 45-year-old resident of the Nogai District got employed as a shepherd at the peasant farm "Animal Husbandry" headed by the suspect, and received 10,000 roubles as advance payment.
A few days later, the shepherd asked for a leave for his family reasons, but the employer refused to let him go, reports the website of the Investigating Department (ID) for Dagestan of the ICRF.
At night on August 25, the shepherd left his job. On the same day, the suspect and his son went to the shepherd's house, forced him and his two small children into their car and brought back to the farm. Then, according to the ID, the suspect demanded from the shepherd's wife to return the advance payment.
The woman turned to the police; and a few hours later the shepherd and his children were released.
The case has been opened under the article on kidnapping two or more persons, a minor, committed by a group of persons and with the use of violence. The maximum penalty under this article is 12 years in prison.
