Makhachkala court treats material with oath to IS leader as extremist

Videos depicting oaths individual commanders of North-Caucasian militants began appearing since November 2014.

The statement of claim on recognition of the above Internet material as extremist was lodged by the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan to the Sovietsky District Court of Makhachkala.

According to the Office, the material contains calls to terrorist activities and statements justifying terrorism. In particular, the speaker swears allegiance to the IS leader and calls to join the organization, recognized as a terrorist one.
