Georgian volunteer perishes in battle near Donetsk
Georgy Barateli, 24, a Georgian volunteer, was lost in Eastern Ukraine, in the area of the anti-terrorist operation.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported about the death in battlefield in Ukraine of the following citizens of Georgia: Giorgi Djanelidze (was killed on April 18 near Shirokino), Tamaz Sukhiashvili (perished in the warfare near Donetsk on January 17), and Alexander Grigolashvili (was killed on December 19, 2014, in the Lugansk Region).
Georgy Barateli was killed by a bomb explosion near the mine of Butovka in the Kiev District of Donetsk.
The Georgian volunteers fought for the 93rd Brigade of Ukrainian troops, the "Georgia-Online" writes today.
The mine of Butovka in the Kiev District of Donetsk is now on the contact line of the troops of the official Kiev and the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The parties are separated by less than 100 meters; and they are constantly shooting at each other, the TSN reports.
