Dagestani policemen may be sacked for filming Chechen power agent
An official check has been appointed in relation to two Dagestani policemen, who have videoed an interrogation of a Chechen power agent, who, as they said, disgorged himself onto a beach in Makhachkala.
The video of the conversation of Dagestani policemen with a Chechen law enforcer law was posted on the YouTube on July 31 by the user Wikileaks Caucasus. "A Kadyrov's man was caught red-handed on the beach in Makhachkala," wrote the user.
The record shows the operator reading the name and the position from the detainee's ID and saying that this man had disgorged himself in a public place – on the beach. The man behind the scene adds that the man did it in the condition of alcohol intoxication. The man himself refuses to explain his actions; he asks to remove the camera and says that he would never do it again.
The Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has stated that the policemen, who made the recording, discredited the honour and dignity of their colleague. Now the MIA is holding a service check, after which the policemen in question may be fired from the MIA, a source from the press service of the Ministry said today.
