Activists in Yerevan blame policemen of disseminating abusive photos
Policemen pasted in central Yerevan photos of leaders of the movement "Arise, Armenia!" with inscription "Grant Eaters", activists have complained.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that July 19 activists of the initiative group "No to robbery!" pasted in central streets of Yerevan photos of the policemen who used force to disperse the demonstration of protesters. However, a few days later, unknown persons pasted to poles in Yerevan photos of the participants of the sit-in strike held in Bagramyan Avenue. Photos were accompanied by offensive inscriptions.
As reported by Artush Chibukhchyan, a member of the initiative group "No to robbery!", photos of protest activists were pasted in the mini-park near the monument to Martiros Saryan. According to his story, the photos of David Sanasaryan, Andreas Gukasyan and Vakhinak Shushanyan, the leaders of the movement "Arise, Armenia!", were accompanied by insulting inscriptions.
In its turn, the trash bins and sidewalks of the Republic Square were used by unknown people for pasting photos of the policemen in civilian clothes, who on June 23 used force to disperse demonstrators in Bagramyan Avenue. Activists demand to hold the policemen responsible for their actions.
