Resident of Gori District of Georgia released in South Ossetia
David Khuroshvili, a resident of Gori District of Georgia, earlier detained for crossing the border with South Ossetia, has reported his release after paying a fine.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 26, the Georgian MIA reported the detention of David Khuroshvili by Russian border guards. In her turn, his mother has stated that her son had not crossed the border with South Ossetia, but worked in his land plot.
David had to pay a fine of 2000 roubles for his release.
So far, no official confirmation of this information was released by authorities of South Ossetia.
Earlier, the Georgian MIA announced detention by Russian border guards of a resident of the Georgian village of Knolevi. According to the MIA, the incident occurred on July 18, when the villager was cultivating his land plot along with his son.
