Andrei Vinogradov, head of Kizlyar District of Dagestan, arrested
The Basmanny Court of Moscow has ruled to arrest Andrei Vinogradov, the head of the Kizlyar District of Dagestan, suspected of murders and financing terrorism.
On July 28, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported that Vinogradov and his relative Sagid Murtazaliev, the head of the Dagestani Branch of the Russian Pension Fund (RPF), are accused of several crimes, including murders, attempted murders and financing terrorism. According to law enforcers, Murtazaliev is hiding in Dubai and will be put on the wanted list.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today at the court session an investigator said that Vinogradov may escape, and, therefore, he must be put into custody. The court granted the request. Within 10 days, Andrei Vinogradov should be formally charged, the RAPSI reports.
According to the court ruling, Vinogradov will stay behind bars at least until September 28, the TASS reports.
