Resident of Dagestan convicted for involvement in armed underground
The court has sentenced a resident of the Tsuntin District of Dagestan to six years of imprisonment for involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF).
The court has established that since mid-2013 the convict received money from the leader of the "Tsuntin" terrorist and diversion grouping for buying foodstuffs for members of the armed underground.
"In July 2014, following a proposal of members of the bandit grouping, Murtazaliev went underground and was hiding in the forest of the village of Elbok of the Tsuntin District," says the website of the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that a court in Dagestan sentenced three residents of the Tsuntin District to prison terms ranging from 1.5 to 6.5 years; two of them were found guilty of involvement in IAFs; and the third one – of helping members of the armed underground.
