David Sanasaryan stops his hunger strike

David Sanasaryan, one of Yerevan protesters, has stopped his hunger strike, saying that a lot of people asked him to do it.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that David Sanasaryan, one of the coordinators of the protest actions against the increase of the electricity tariff, went on a termless hunger strike in the evening on July 6; and on July 7, activists Ovannes Karapetyan, Gor Karapetyan, Ashot Shakhnazaryan, Sergey Khachatryan and Roman Galstyan joined him. On July 9, all of them, except Sanasaryan, stopped their hunger strike.

"People have argued that I need my energy to continue the struggle. It is really going on; and we really need power for it," David Sanasaryan commented his decision to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
