Djambulat Ozdoev demands to investigate actions of law enforcers in Nasyr-Kort

On July 6, Ingush Ombudsman Djambulat Ozdoev sent to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) the request to verify the actions of law enforcers in the special operation carried out in Nasyr-Kort, during which Ali Aliev and his spouse were killed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 25, Ali Aliev, a 43-year-old resident of Nasyr-Kort, and his 36-year-old spouse Leyla Alieva, members of illegal armed formations (IAF), were killed during the special operation in the Nasyr-Kort District of Nazran.

On June 29, the channel of the public movement "Mekkh-Kkhel" at YouTube posted a video record titled "Appeal of the Evloev teip in connection with the execution of the Aliev spouses". Members of the Evloev teip accused law enforcers of murdering Ali Aliev and his spouse and demanded from the Ingush leaders to intervene in the situation.

On July 2, Aliev's brother Magomed Aliev addressed the Ombudsperson in Ingushetia, the Ingush human rights organization "Mashr" and the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial", with an appeal to help in establishing and bringing to justice the participants of the above events.

According to Ingush Ombudsman Djambulat Ozdoev, relatives of the Aliev spouses were visited by a staff member of the Ombudsman's Office.

"The Aliev's relatives have confirmed the facts they had described earlier in their complaint. They said that law enforcers came to them with a search warrant and searched Ali and Leyla. Then, according to the relatives, the law enforcers brought Leyla into the house and shot and killed her. After that, they brought her husband into the house and also shot and killed him. Then, they blew up the house. On July 6, we sent a letter to the ICRF's Investigating Department for Ingushetia with a request to verify the legality of the law enforcers' actions," Djambulat Ozdoev has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
