Court starts filing documents in Amirov's case

The court in Rostov-on-Don, which considers the case of ex-mayor of Makhachkala Said Amirov, has begun reading out documents with further filing them into case files. The first the health certificate of defendant Murad Aliev was announced.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since May 12, the main case of Said Amirov is considered by the North-Caucasian District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don. The prisoner's dock contains, Said Amirov, Yusup Djaparov, Murad Aliev; Akhmedov brothers, Magomed Kadiev and Zubair Mutaev, who are accused of organizing murders, participation in an illegal armed formation (IAF), banditry, terrorism and illegal arms circulation; however, all of them refuse to plead guilty.

The health certificate of the defendant Murad Aliev, who underwent surgery last year for extracting foreign items from his body, was announced first and stated that Aliev had no complaints; and his state of health is satisfactory.

Let us remind you that at the court session on June 24, a witness in Amirov's case Murad Kurbanov told about people who had visited the apartment with a cache of weapons. According to investigators, the defendants had some attitude to the weapons. The witness said that the apartment in question was rented, and it belongs to his cousin Karim Kurbanov; it was bought his father, the witness' uncle some five years ago.
