Tamerlan Aguzarov announces resignation of North Ossetian government

Members of the government of North Ossetia should resign in connection with the termination of the constitutional powers of the leader of the republic. This has been announced by Tamerlan Aguzarov, the acting head of the region, who has been introduced to MPs today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 5, the Russian President issued a decree to relieve of duties Taimuraz Mamsurov, the leader of North Ossetia, in connection with the expiration of his term at the office. Tamerlan Aguzarov was appointed acting leader of the republic.

Today, Sergey Melikov, the Russian President's Envoy to the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), has introduced Tamerlan Aguzarov to the Parliament of North Ossetia.

In his speech, Tamerlan Aguzarov himself has emphasized the fact that the republic needs investments. Besides, according to Tamerlan Aguzarov, the new government of the republic faces "great legislative activities together with the parliament" and "solution of personnel problems." Tamerlan Aguzarov has explained that the government of the republic "should resign in connection with the termination of the constitutional powers of the leader of the republic and the appointment to the post of new acting leader."
