In South Ossetia, local resident killed by anti-personnel mine
One of the victims affected by the explosion of a mine in the vicinity of Tskhinvali died. The second victim is under the supervision of doctors.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the explosion occurred this morning. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), two civilians were supposedly blown up on anti-personnel mine in the northern outskirts of Tskhinvali, three kilometres from the highway. Frontik Gabaraev, born in 1989, died from his injuries at the place, the press service of the MIA of South Ossetia reports.
The condition of the second victim is stable, and he remains at the general therapy ward of the Republican somatic hospital.
"He was slightly injured," said Mairbek Kokoev, the chief doctor of the hospital as quoted by the news agency "Res".
At the reception ward of the republican hospital, the condition of the survivor was mentioned as severe, the "Interfax" reports.
