Lawyers explain death sentence for Johar Tsarnaev by features of US judicial system
According to Russian lawyers, the death sentence imposed on Johar Tsarnaev contradicts the European Convention on Human Rights; however, it can be explained by the peculiarities of the US judicial system and the mentality of US citizens. For them, the crime committed by Johar Tsarnaev is so extraordinary and illogical that the number of his sympathizers in the country is minimal. This was stated by Konstantin Dobrynin, the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 15, in the United States, Johar Tsarnaev accused of committing the terror act in Boston was sentenced by the US jury to capital punishment death penalty.
According to Nadezhda Ermolaeva, an advocate from the Bar "Musaev and Partners", the European Court treats such decisions as in the Johar Tsarnaev's case as contradicting the European Convention on Human Rights.
In his turn, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov declared in his Instagram that Johar Tsarnaev "fell victim to the American secret services."
