Lawyer requests case materials of special operation in Grozny from ICRF
Today, the lawyer Zaurbek Sadakhanov, who represents the interests of the family of Djambulat Dadaev, has turned to the Chief Investigating Department (CID) for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) demanding to acquaint him with the materials of the criminal case, which was initiated on the special operation conducted in Grozny, but then cancelled by Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the ICRF.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Dadaev, who was on the federal wanted list on suspicion of shelling an entrepreneur in Stavropol, was killed in Grozny on April 19 in the operation conducted by employees of the Chief Department of the Russian MIA for the Stavropol Territory.
After Dadaev's murder, the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov criticized the actions of Stavropol operative agents, stating that no one has the right to conduct any special operations in his republic without the consent of local authorities.
Sadakhanov has filed a petition to the above CID of the ICRF asking to acquaint him with the resolutions adopted within the above criminal case about the abuse of office by Stavropol operative agents.
The lawyer said that Dadaev's relatives would seek to challenge the decision on cancelling the above criminal case.
According to Sadakhanov, the aim of Dadaev's family is "to restart the criminal case, establish the perpetrators and bring them to responsibility under the law.
