Political analysts associate Kuban administration reshuffle with construction of Kerch Strait Bridge
Kuban (Krasnodar Territory) administration reshuffle can be explained by the Kremlin's desire to deprive local officials of the chance to embezzle the funds allocated for the construction of the Kerch Strait Bridge. This opinion was expressed by political analysts questioned by the "Caucasian Knot".
Let us remind you that on April 28, in Kuban, Vice-Governors Vadim Lukoyanov, Galina Zolina, and Sergey Garkush were released from office. Besides, today, nine advisers to the Governor of the KrasnodarTerritory were dismissed, and on April 24, 16 associates and advisers to the Governor of the KrasnodarTerritory were released from office.
The resonant dismissals resulted from the Kremlin's desire to "clean up the team of ex-Governor Tkachov." This opinion was expressed by political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin, the former member of the Presidential Council on Human Rights.
According to him, the reason for administration reshuffles is the construction of a bridge connecting the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea.
"A year has passed, and nothing has been done. To start the bridge construction, you need to launch serious research project, drill sea bottom, and explore the ground. Meanwhile, absolutely nothing has been done, and no project has been developed. We can assume that the money allocated for the construction of the bridge is gone. Perhaps, Vladimir Putin was reported where and how the allocated money had gone and what the Tkachov's role had been in disappearance of the money. The persons associated with Tkachov now leave for the same reason," Dmitry Oreshkin believes.
