CTO regime cancelled in North Ossetia

In North Ossetia, the special operation in the village of Novy of the Prigorodny District has been completed, and the regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been cancelled.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, at 6:00 a.m., the CTO regime has been introduced in the village of Novy. The reason for the special operation was the information obtained by the law enforcement agencies about the possibility of presence of members of the armed underground in the Prigorodny District.

The CTO regime was cancelled at 4:00 p.m., the website "15th Region" reports with reference to the press service of the FSB Department for North Ossetia.

According to an official of the operational headquarters, the special measures taken within the CTO helped to stop the threat that militants would enter the region. According to the source, no damage had been inflicted, and no one fell victim to the CTO, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
