Defence re-challenges arrest of three defendants in Boris Nemtsov's murder case
Today, advocates of Shagit Gubashev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, and Khamzat Bakhaev, accused of involvement in the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov, have challenged the court's decision to re-arrest them.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 6, the Basmanny Court of Moscow announced the pre-trial restriction measure in the form of detention until April 28 against three defendants in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, including Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, and Shagit Gubashev. The question of the pre-trial restriction measure has been re-considered after the Moscow City Court cancelled the previous decision. The advocates of the defendants have announced their intention to appeal against the arrest.
Today, it has been reported that the defenders have filed relevant complaints.
Zaurbek Sadakhanov, an advocate of Khamzat Bakhaev, believes that there is every reason to cancel the decision on re-arrest. The same complaint was filed to the court by the advocate of Shagit Gubashev and the advocate of Tamerlan Eskerkhanov.
