Trial in BORN's case postponed until April 14
The trial in the case against the "Combat Organization of Russian Nationalists" (BORN), which takes place in the Moscow Regional Court, has been postponed. The Court decided to wait for characteristics for the three defendants to be received from the SIZO (pre-trial prison).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 31, the jury announced a guilty verdict against defendants Maxim Baklagin, Vyacheslav Isaev, Mikhail Volkov, and Yuri Tikhomirov. The jurors have found that the defendants deserve leniency for a number of episodes. Today, the Court started discussing the verdict. It has announced the results of the psychiatric examination undergone by two defendants. According to the examination, they are healthy and able to control their actions.
After the announcement of the examination results, the Court granted the motion filed by an advocate of defendant Mikhail Volkov to question his mother. The woman said that her son became a football fan when he was a teenager. In 2006, he married, and after the death of his first child, he moved to Kiev with his wife, where, according to Mikhail Volkov himself, local secret service got interested in him.
