"RBC": Zaur Dadaev returned to Grozny to take his travel passport

On the next day after the murder of Boris Nemtsov, Zaur Dadaev tried to take his travel passport from the battalion "Sever" (North) in Grozny. This was stated by the material prepared by Maxim Solopov, Zhanna Ulyanova and Svetlana Reuter and published by the "RBC".

An on duty officer did not give Dadaev his passport for some unknown reason, the "RBC" reports with the reference to a source in one of the law enforcement institutions.

The information has also been confirmed by Ivan Gerasimov, an advocate of Zaur Dadaev. According to the advocate, that fact cannot prove the intentions of his client to escape.

Ivan Gerasimov explains that Zaur Dadaev could be refused of taking his passport because of absence of a personnel officer of the battalion. Meanwhile, the advocate is not aware of the activities of his client in the period on March 1-5.

According to advocates of the other defendants in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, only Shagid Gubashev had a travel passport.
