Moscow Court arrests Shagid Gubashev

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow has re-announced the decision to arrest Shagid Gubashev, accused of the murder of Boris Nemtsov, until April 28.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, and Shagit Gubashev accused of involvement in the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov, have been brought to the court session, which was to decide on pre-trial restriction measure against them.

Shagit Gubashev did not plead guilty. The investigators and prosecutors asked the Court to keep him in custody because of the "impossibility of selecting lenient pre-trial restriction measure against the person accused of such a serious crime."

Earlier, the Court has announced the decision on the re-arrest of Khamzat Bakhaev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov.
