Residents of Dagestan report house-by-house checks conducted in three villages
Locals report that today power agents conduct house-by-house checks in the villages of Maidanskoe, Balakhani and Zirani of the Untsukul District of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on April 2, the Untsukul and Gergebil Districts of Dagestan was put under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime. According to the spokesman of the republic's operative headquarters, power agents are searching for militants aiming to neutralize them.
During their house-by-house inspections, power agents check locals' documents, Rasul M., a resident of the Untsukul District, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"In Maidanskoe, Balakhani and Zirani militaries conduct house-by-house inspections and check residents' documents. As far as I know, no houses were searched," said Rasul M.
A woman-resident of the settlement of Vremenny said that "in her settlement and the adjacent village of Gimry the situation is calm."
"There are plenty of militaries around Gimry; however, none of them has entered the village. They say that militaries are now inspecting Balakhani. They check relatives of those who are 'in the forest'," the woman told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
