Advocate of Zaur Dadaev denies his client's cooperation with investigators

Zaur Dadaev, a defendant in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, does not cooperate with investigators. This has been stated by his advocate, who denied the report made by an investigator of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) stating that Zaur Dadaev had made a confession.

Boris Nemtsov was shot and killed in Moscow on February 27. Five persons, including Zaur Dadaev, Anzor and Shagid Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, were detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder. They would not plead guilty.

Let us remind you that today, at the court session, Anton Migunov, an investigator of the ICRF, has stated that Zaur Dadaev made a confession, which, in particular, confirmed the involvement of defendant Khamzat Bakhaev in the murder of Boris Nemtsov.

According to the investigator, Zaur Dadaev made a confession against himself and other defendants in the case, the "Kommersant" reports.

"He is cooperating with the investigators, and he has repeatedly confessed to the crime," the investigator stated as quoted by the "RAPSI" (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information).

The defence of Zaur Dadaev has denied the above information. Zaur Dadaev is not cooperating with the investigators, the "Interfax" reports with reference to his advocate Ivan Gerasimov.
