The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 21, Gadjimurad Omarov was beaten up after the conference organized by the Dagestan branch of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" Party. Gadjimurad Omarov went to Moscow for medical treatment, where he was diagnosed with a fractured collarbone and brain concussion. Gadjimurad Omarov has claimed that the attack on him involved an official from the local government.

Today, in accordance with Article 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, advocate Zinfira Mirzaeva has filed a complaint to the Soviet District Court of Makhachkala, in which she asked the Court to recognize unlawful inaction of the law enforcers.

"On March 10, I personally filed a complaint with attached medical records of Gadjimurad Omarov to the Investigating Division of the Lenin District of Makhachkala of the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). From there, my complaint was sent to the Investigating Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), and, in turn, from there again to the Investigating Division of the ICRF. There, I was reported that on March 17, they returned the material to the MIA's Investigating Department. That is, the Investigating Division and the MIA are sending our complaint to each other," Zinfira Mirzaeva has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
