New terrorism episode added to Said Amirov's case

Investigators have completed the investigation into the main criminal case against Said Amirov, the former Mayor of Makhachkala, and submitted it to the Prosecutor's Office for approval. In addition to the organization of the investigator's murder, Said Amirov is charged with terrorism.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Said Amirov is a defendant in the case of the murder of investigator Arsen Gadjibekov, the head of one of the investigating departments of Makhachkala, committed in Kaspiysk on December 14, 2011.

The new episode refers to an attack on the cultural and entertainment centre (CEC) "Moskva" in Kaspiysk committed at night on April 3, 2011. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that then, a grenade from a "Bumblebee" rocket launcher hit an electric pole located next to the building. No casualties and no injuries were reported. The shock wave broke windows in the CEC building and damaged a car owned by a watchman. The criminal case was originally instituted under article of disorderly conduct; however, at present, investigators of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) believe that it was a real terror act ordered by Said Amirov.

Vladimir Postanyuk, an advocate of Said Amirov, has confirmed the information about the new charges and reported that his client does not admit his guilt.
