Successors of Avetisyan family demand identification of Permyakov's clothes

The successors of the Avetisyan family, whose members were massacred in Gyumri, demand from investigators to present the clothes of Valery Permyakov, who was accused of the above massacre, for identification. Permyakov put on the clothes in question after committing the crime.

Grant Djalalyan, one of the successors, said that, according to investigators, the clothes and shoes, which Permyakov had at the moment of detention, belonged to members of the Avetisyan family. The suspect left his military uniform in the house of the family, he said, citing the investigators.

Lusine Saakyan, the advocate of Rita Petrosyan, another successor, believes that the identification of the clothes, worn by Permyakov at the moment of detention, is important; however, she cannot say, at what stage of the examination it will take place.

The results of the appointed examinations will be ready in the next few days, Saakyan told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Earlier, on February 26, the successors of the Avetisyan family appealed to the General Public Prosecutor of Armenia asking him to listen to their position on the murder in Gyumri. Gevorg Kostanyan agreed to meet them; their discussion will be held on March 13.
