10 policemen to be sacked after incident at motor rally in NKR
During the motor rally organized by the "Pre-Parliament" in the NKR, a number of policemen grossly violated the discipline; ten of them will be dismissed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 31, the supporters of the "Pre-Parliament", who participated in the agitation motor rally, were attacked and beaten up; in total, at least 6 people suffered. According to their story, policemen took part in the beatings. In their turn, the police said that the incident was provoked by activists. The police of the NKR began a check.
A commission, composed of three police officers, and officials from the government and the Ministry of Justice, has reviewed the outcomes of the service investigation.
As a result, a motion was sent to the chief of police demanding to punish 25 employees; of them ten will be dismissed; nine will be strictly reprimanded, and the remaining six will be reprimanded, the "News.am" reports.
