Tlisova: court questions six prosecution witnesses at Tsarnaev's trial

At the first court session held on March 4 in the case against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, accused of committing a terror act during the Boston Marathon in April 2013, the court has questioned six witnesses for the prosecution. This was reported from the courtroom by Fatima Tlisova, a journalist of the "Voice of America".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 5, in Boston, the court started consideration on merits in the case against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Its first phase included the selection of jurors. The jury (12 core members and six alternates) included ten women and eight men. The first court session in the case against Johar Tsarnaev was started on March 4. At the court session, the Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's advocates admitted his involvement in organization of the terror act.

At the court session held on March 4, after the opening speeches delivered by the advocates and the public prosecutors, Judge George O'Toole announced the transition to the presentation of evidence.

"As a result, the prosecutors and the defence have presented arguments, and the prosecutors have introduced six witnesses. The defence's strategy has been that Dzhokhar acted under the influence of his brother," Fatima Tlisova, who reported about the court session, wrote in her microblog in Twitter.
