Man kidnapped in Makhachkala

Artyom Alkhasov, a resident of Makhachkala, was kidnapped in the evening on March 2 in the centre of Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, his relatives report. The police have confirmed that they received an application about the kidnapping.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. Moscow time, in the crossing of Dakhadaev and Kotrov Streets, near the "Dynamo" Stadium in Makhachkala. Relatives learned about the kidnapping from eyewitnesses.

"A girl came to parents and brought my brother's cell phone, which dropped out during the kidnapping," Abubakar Alkhasov, Artyom's brother, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"A black VAZ-2114 car with the number plate 803 drove up; some unidentified men without masks jumped out; pushed back my brother in, drove away to some unknown place," said Abubakar Alkhasov, adding that his relatives have already submitted their written application to the police department where they live – the Kirov ROVD (District Police Division).
