In Khimki, near Moscow, advocate of Ingush native, accused of robbery, states incorrect qualification of offence
Abdullah Getagazov, a native of Ingushetia, is accused of committing a robbery in the city of Khimki. His advocate states that he revealed at least 16 violations in the investigation of the case. One of them, as he says, was a wrong qualification of the incident, in the course of which, according to Getagazov, he tried to get some debt on behalf of his friends.
The case against Getagazov was initiated on July 1, 2014, on commission of a robbery. In November 2014 the case was sent back for further investigation; and Getagazov was charged with a robbery committed together with an unidentified group of persons, said his advocate Adnan Iskhakov.
According to his story, investigators blamed his client for an attack in order to capture the car keys and hijack the car.
The advocate also said that on February 25 he filed a complaint against the inaction of the investigator and the prosecutor, who "failed to control the course of investigation."
"My client was a party in the warfare in South Ossetia; he has military awards and very positive characteristics from his previous job; he is a MIA employee and an in Combat Sambo wrestling; however, these characterizing materials were not attached to the case; therefore he was placed into custody," said the advocate.
