Power agents report on killing three militants in Dagestan
According to the preliminary information, in Dagestan, during a special operation held in the Kizilyurt District, three members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) were shot and killed. This was reported by a source in the power structures of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on Wednesday morning, a counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in four villages of the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan. Power agents have reported that they discovered a dugout between the villages of Nechaevka and Chontaul, where militants might be hiding. Later, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) of Russia has reported that the blocked militants refused to lay down their arms, and then the power agents started to storm the dugout.
Till present, the exact number of the militants hiding in the dugout is not clear; however, according to the preliminary information, three of them were killed. This was reported by an official from the power structures of Dagestan.
"Several militants were hiding in a dugout discovered in the wooden area in the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan. Some of the militants opened fire, and the others part started to escape. According to the preliminary information, during the active phase of the special operation, three militants were killed," the TASS quotes the source as stating.
According to the source, the special operation is still underway.
