Trial of BORN case considers murder of athlete Muslim Abdullayev

During the trial held by the Moscow Regional Court of the case of the "Battle Organization of Russian Nationalists" (BORN), one of the victims, Ramazan Nurichuev, was questioned and told about the murder of the athlete Muslim Abdullayev.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that there are four defendants in the BORN case – Maxim Baklagin, Vyacheslav Isaev, Mikhail Volkov and Yuri Tikhomirov. The case of the alleged leader of the BORN Ilya Goryachev has been separated into individual proceeding.

Nurichuev described the circumstances of the incident that took place on October 24, 2011.

"During a friendly meeting with friends, Abdullayev among them, we went outside during a workout. Muslim was already a titled athlete – he performed for Russia at sports competitions. 5-10 minutes later suddenly we heard. I just remember how I ran; I didn't know why they were shooting at me. I began shooting back from my traumatic pistol at the silhouettes of two men running after me," said Nurichuev.

According to his story, then he stopped a taxi and asked the driver to call an ambulance.

"When I came back, I saw Muslim lying on the pavement; there were people around him... I had no bodily injuries," said the witness.

It is expected that the next court session will consider the last episode of the crimes incriminated to BORN members, namely, the circumstances of Eduard Chuvashov, Judge of the Moscow City Court.
