Grozny law enforcers search for two suspected suicide bombers, a police source reports

On October 15, in the Lenin District of Grozny, law enforcers checked passports in connection with the search for suspected members of illegal armed formations (IAFs), who, according to the operative information, might be hiding in one of the districts of the city. This was reported by a source of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Chechen Republic.

According to the source from the Chechen MIA, in this case, the operative information reported about Aslan A., born in 1981, and Magomed Z., born in 1985, natives of Chechnya, who formerly lived in the Staropromyslovsky and Zavodskoy Districts of Grozny, respectively.

Moreover, the source from the Chechen MIA has reported that Aslan A. left home this April. According to the operative information, he joined an IAF.

"According to our information, both of them are directly involved in activities of the IAFs, and they can be used as suicide bombers," the source from the Chechen MIA has noted.

Meanwhile, in different parts of Grozny, the police have disseminated the orientation information about the suspected criminals.

At present, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments from the persons wanted by the police and their representatives in connection with the statement made by the source from the Chechen MIA.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that on October 5, a suicide bombing was committed in Grozny.
