Bomb found in place of attack on policemen in Nalchik

As reported by the press service of the Chief Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), investigators found a package with an explosive device at the place of the attack on policemen in Nalchik.

The attack was committed in the evening on March 31. Two unidentified attackers threw a bomb at three law enforcers, which wounded a police officer. Policemen opened return fire and wounded one of the attackers, but they managed to escape.

The incident occurred in Shogentsukov Street. When investigators arrived at the venue, they found a package with an improvised explosive device (IED), lost by the attackers during escape, the ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the press service of the local MIA.

By the order of Police Lieutenant General Sergey Vasiliev, the Minister of Interior of the Kabardino-Balkaria, the plan "Vulcan-4" was enacted in Nalchik with the aim to find and arrest the attackers.
