In Armenia, "Heritage" Party criticizes official Yerevan on Crimea issue

In Yerevan, on March 28, a rally was held of the oppositional "Heritage" Party, where the official Armenian's position on the territorial integrity of Ukraine was criticized.

Raffi Ovannisyan, the leader of the "Heritage", reproached, in his speech in Freedom Square, the country's leadership for the decision to vote at the session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) against the resolution on the Crimea. According to his story, the Armenian delegation "could have at least abstained."

"With this illegitimate power in place, we can already forget about the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and such issues like self-determination and recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, human rights, the freedom of choice, and nature protection and conservation," said Ovannisyan.

According to his story, Armenian people constantly see inflation, robbery, alienation of state property, migration and slavery.

Raffi Ovannisyan announced plans for April 9 protest rally in Yerevan, to which he invited activists of the non-ruling parties of Armenia.
