Restaurant shelled in Makhachkala

Unidentified persons made a shot from a grenade launcher at the entertainment centre "Golden Empire", which is housing a hotel and a restaurant; ten minutes later an explosion occurred at the building. According to preliminary data, there are no victims, a source from the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The incident occurred at about 7:45 p.m. Moscow time in Bogatyryov Street.

"Unidentified persons shelled the facade of the 'Golden Empire' and then fled. Some ten minutes later after the shot, a homemade bomb exploded near the entertainment centre," said the source.

According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties and wounded persons; and the venue is examined by a team of investigators.
