Olympic Transport Directorate introduces special bus routes for participants and guests of 2014 Olympic Games

The Olympic Transport Directorate has introduced in Sochi differentiated bus routes for participants and guests of the 2014 Winter Games. The names of the routes are placed on the information boards near Olympic venues and in the streets of Sochi.

The new routes are indicated by combinations of letters and numbers. Each route is designed to transport a specific client group. Buses with routes marked by letters "TR" are designated to transport regular viewers.

Everyone can find the information about new routes from information boards already installed at bus stops at the train station, bus stations, and local stations in the centre of Sochi, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Meanwhile, starting from January 10, the tariff for a bus trip in Sochi has grown from 15 up to 19 roubles. Price increase can be explained by the fact that the city administration has purchased more than 350 buses for the Olympic routes, the "Vesti FM Kuban" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Sochi, the Russian Ministry of Transport has limited traffic of private vehicles for the period of the Winter Games, from February 7 till March 24, 2014.
