In Said Amirov's case, investigators suspect ex-investigator from Makhachkala of murdering his colleague, a source reports

The Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) files new charges in the criminal case, in which Said Amirov, ex-Mayor of Makhachkala, is the main defendant. Magomed Akhmedov, the former staff member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan, is charged with the murder of investigator Arsen Gadjibekov, the "Rosbalt" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies. The information has not yet been officially confirmed.

According to the source from the law enforcement bodies, Magomed Akhmedov is charged under Article 295 (attempt on life of a person administering justice or preliminary investigation) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to the investigators, Magomed Akhmedov was one of the criminals, who shoot dead Arsen Gadjibekov in 2011.

Earlier, Magomed Akhmedov was also charged with the murder (Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) of Magomedgadji Aliev, the director of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise (MUE) "Vodokanal" of Kaspiisk, committed in 2011.

The ICRF believes that the both crimes were committed by the "order" of a top-ranking official, the "Rosbalt" informs. The edition notes that at present, in total, 11 persons, including Said Amirov, are kept in custody, while the investigation into the case is underway.
