On November 22, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) held a rally "No to corruption!" urging citizens not to remain indifferent to manifestations of corruption in bodies of power.
The action began in the Square of 400th Anniversary of Voluntary Accession of Kabardino-Balkaria to Russia. The poster read: "Let's break the chain of corruption!"
Valentin Ulyasov, Lieutenant Colonel of Internal Troops, the Head of the Personnel Department of the MIA of the KBR, has called the audience not to remain indifferent to any manifestations of bribery in power bodies and law enforcement agencies, and to render all possible assistance in suppressing them.
According to the republic's police, 242 corruption crimes were revealed in the KBR during the first 9 months of this year.
