Oleg Shein, Deputy of Astrakhan Regional Duma operated on at Sklifosofsky Institute after attack
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt at the Sklifosofsky Research Institute that Deputy Oleg Shein, a Deputy of the Astrakhan Regional Duma, who was wounded in Moscow, underwent a surgery and was placed into the traumatology ward.
"He was received this morning, underwent surgery and placed in Traumatology Ward No. 1; his condition is satisfactory," said the reception room of the Institute.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Oleg Shein was hospitalized in Moscow on Thursday with three stab wounds. According to Vasily Vorokh, the head of the executive committee of the Astrakhan branch of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) Party, the attack on Shein was not related to his political activities: he spent the night at a hostel and was an accidental witness to a domestic conflict. A 21-year-old woman from the Chelyabinsk Region was detained on suspicion of committing a crime.
