Affected investors of "Express" receive almost a third of insurance compensation

The North-Caucasian Branch of the Savings Bank has paid more than a billion roubles of insurance compensations to residents of Dagestan on their deposits, opened at the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Express", whose license had been revoked.

The total amount of payments to depositors is estimated at 3.5 billion roubles. Thus, within the first five days almost a third of the total amount of insurance compensations on 8000 deposits has been paid. During a day, the offices of the above Branch manage to serve about 3000 clients, as Mikhail Airapetyan, the deputy manager of the Dagestan branch No. 8590 of the North-Caucasian Sberbank of Russia, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to Pyotr Koltypin, the chairman of the bank, for the convenience of investors living in the communities, where there are no offices of the Savings Bank, they organized fixed-route taxis to bring clients to closest offices.
