Badi Mirzabekova’ relatives in Dagestan report her kidnapping

Relatives of Badi Mirzabekova, resident of Derbent aged 16, report her kidnapping, representatives of Dagestani regional human rights center (DRHC) “Human Rights Protection” told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.

According to Badi Mirzabekova’s relatives, she was kidnapped on January, 22, in Derbent, supposedly within the period between 14:30 and 17:00 Moscow time.

“Badi Mirzabekova is a strictly practicing Muslim. At about 14:30 she sent an SMS message to her mother Dinara Eskanderova, owner of a Muslim store, with a list of books to be delivered to the store. At about 17:00 Dinara’s friend called her saying that the store was closed. Dinara started calling her daughter but there was no reply”, a representative of DRHC “Human Rights Protection” said to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.

In his turn, an officer of the standby unit of Derbent municipal Department of Interior Affairs told the “Caucasian Knot” that Badi Mirzabekova was not delivered to the Department.
