Power agents killed in explosion in Chechnya were detached by contract

In Chechnya, investigation into the deaths of two soldiers of the Russian military unit of the Russian Ministry of Defence, who on April 28 blew up an unidentified explosive device in the south of the Republic. Both victims were contract soldiers who had come to serve in Chechnya from other regions of Russia, the Commandant's Office reports.

Let us remind you that the incident occurred in the morning of April 28 in the vicinity of high altitude village of Kharsenoi of the Shatoi District of Chechnya.

"In the forest area near the village of Kharsenoi of the Shatoi District, two soldiers of the 17th Division of the Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Ministry of Defence, deployed in the area, were seriously injured and killed in explosion of an explosive device of unidentified type," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by a source in the Republic's Military Commandant's Office.
