Musa Kadyrov, football referee from Chechnya, gets lifetime ban for refereeing

Today, the Disciplinary Commission of the Referees' Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) decided to suspend for life Musa Kadyrov, a line referee from Chechnya who beat a football player.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 26, in Grozny, after the football match between youth teams of the "Terek" FC and the "Amkar" FC from Perm, Musa Kadyrov stroke down to the ground and began to beat Ilya Krichmar, a defender of the Perm FC. According to the version of Musa Kadyrov, throughout the whole match, the football player provoked him; however, when the line referee turned to the chief referee, the latter did not react.

Musa Kadyrov was dismissed from the referee's position not only on professional, but also on semi-professional level. This was reported by Lom-Ali Ibragimov, President of the Union of Football Federations of the Southern Federal District (SFD) and the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), after the meeting of the RFU's Disciplinary Commission.

According to the version of Lom-Ali Ibragimov, the behaviour of the Chechen referee can be largely related to the fact that the RFU does not allow the republic's referees to serve the matches in other regions of the country, and because of the lack in their experience, they display not sufficiently responsible approach to their work. He has emphasized that earlier, Musa Kadyrov worked only on the matches of the republic's football competitions and various rural matches, the "F-Sport" reports.

Meanwhile, Lom-Ali Ibragimov has added that Ilya Krichmar can also be subjected to penalty and that the issue of disqualification may be raised at the next meeting of the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the RFU to be held on April 30, the "ITAR-TASS" reports.

Let us remind you that after the football match, Ilya Krichmar said that he never insulted the referee.
